Who we are

Who we are

Chiltonville Congregational Church has been preaching and celebrating the Good News of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom since 1814 (more than 200 years!).  We are an active and joyful church who loves the Lord and each other as we worship God through song, prayer and Biblical teaching.  CCC members are active in ministries, groups and missions which work together to make strong disciples of Jesus Christ.

CCC is independent of any denomination but freely associates with the Congregational Churches which make up the Mass. Association of Congregational Christian Churches and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches.

Located at 6 River St. (across from Bramhall’s General Store). Sunday worship, led by our Pastor, Rev. Susan Nye Thornton, and Church School for grades K-8 begin at 10 a.m. Nursery care is provided for children through age 5. A time of refreshment and informal conversation follows the Worship Service and all are welcome.

Small Groups include Weekly Bible Study, Prayer Circle, Book Group, Men’s Group, Teen Forum and annual Women’s Retreat.  Other learning opportunities are offered during the course of the church year. The choir, under the direction of Bob Baker, rehearses weekly and additional voices are always welcome.
